(UPDATED 2/8/2020)
As if you haven't noticed by now, we moved to a new location and now in the progress of moving in. Stay tuned for any updates and whatnot.
It was announced earlier today of the passing of Archie editor-in-chief Victor Gorelick. The following was posted in the companies FB page:
"We are extremely heartbroken and devastated to inform the Archie family of the passing of Archie Comics icon and Editor in Chief, Victor Gorelick, who made Riverdale his home for over sixty years. No person embodied the Archie spirit more than Victor, who was a leader, friend, and mentor to everyone that walked through the doors of Archie. A ilfelong friend and mentor to Archie Comics Co-CEO, Jon Goldwater - and an inspiration to the entire Archie Comics family - Victor will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Kathie, his family, his friends, and his many fans."
Artist Dan Parent also posted of Gorelick's passing on his FB page
"I am very saddened by the death of my good friend, colleague, editor and inspiration Victor Gorelick of Archie Comics. To say this is the end of an era is an understatement.
Victor WAS Archie Comics . He was there over 60 years !!! And his love for Archie never waned. He was so proud of the Archie legacy, which he was a big part of.
I’ve known Victor for 35 years, meeting him my second year at the Joe Kubert School. He plucked me out of the school and gave me my start at Archie. It’s safe to say he gave me my career!! Of which I’m eternally grateful!
I have so many fond memories of Victor, I don’t know where to begin. But the main things that pop into my head are all the great conversations we’d have sitting in his office. We covered a wide variety of topics , and Victor’s dry wit was always the best ! I’ll really miss those talks.
My deepest condolences to his family and especially his wife Kathie, who he always claimed he won the jackpot when he met her !
Thank you , Victor for everything you’ve done for me . And for everything you’ve given to the Archie family and fans out there. Your life lives on in every page !
JOSIE IN SPACE!! (...when?!...)
If you blinked recently, you might have missed a new Josie series. Yup, an actual Josie mini-series! That takes place in outer space!
The reason for this mystery is that 'JOSIE & THE PUSSYCATS IN SPACE' is currently being sold not in comic stores but on-line through Amazons ComiXology site.
The basic plot is The Cats are in space thanks to the USO and crazy stuff happens. This is all I know as I haven't had the chance to read #1 yet.
This is a part of a 5 issue series. You can read further details and a preview HERE!

A recent 'Josie' spotting has been reported by Twitter account Amalgam Comics.
